Take 5: Holiday Tag by Ursula Smith

Have you never used paint on a tag or card? Why not? Give it a try!

Here is a quick tag (but you could use the same process on a card as well). It looks like it took you a long time, but the time it takes is less than 5 minutes! There is drying time, so plan to do this over a couple of days.

This Micaceous Iron Oxide paint by Golden is one of my favorite paints. It has a little bit of glimmer and texture to it, so it really makes your projects stand out and look totally glam ;) .

This would be an excellent choice for making a tag for a bottle of wine (or your other favorite beverage) to take as a hostess gift while you make the rounds of Holiday parties! Enjoy!!

I love this idea Ursula! I forgot that this paint has texture imbedded into it, making it one less step to something layered and creative. Now I want to pull out my embossing folders and play! Thanks for sharing!
